POP40 – The Bee’s Knees

Norway’s own Elephant Six collective, but way more organized. This compilation features 10 year’s worth of highlights [correction, Mike: only the last 5 years] from the now essential in my opinion label Perfect Pop. The cd consists of 19 tracks and stand outs would have to be Jessica Fletchers, Tables, Silly Pillows, Ethnobabes, Loch Ness Mouse and Orange Alabaster Mushroom. If you like good psych influenced pop then this comp will bring a huge smile to your face.
